Perception Difference and Conflicts of Stakeholders in the Urban Regeneration Project: A Case Study of Nanluoguxiang

While specific strategies and action plans, such as community engagement, partnerships, social networks, have been vastly explored in light of the growing significance collaborative governance urban regeneration projects, there is little information on differences perceptions stakeholders regarding governance. This study analyzed local governments, residents, merchants, planners, all participants Nanluoguxiang, China’s representative project. The main results are follows. First, perception participations’ roles importance significant between stakeholders. Second, if they insufficient knowledge functions other participating groups, diverse conflicts can occur process regeneration.
